How a weight loss coach can help you
Emotional support during your journey
Weight loss often stirs up feelings of self-doubt, shame, or comparison. Many clients who use GLP-1 medications share that they feel stigma or even keep their use a secret from family or partners. Coaching offers a safe place to talk openly about these experiences, reduce shame, and find encouragement without judgment.
Accountability without judgment
Instead of relying solely on willpower, weight loss coaching provides consistent encouragement and structure. Whether you’re using GLP-1 medications or not, I’ll help you set realistic goals, celebrate your wins, and navigate setbacks with kindness. Accountability doesn’t mean pressure—it means having a partner who reminds you that progress matters more than perfection.
Navigating body image shifts
As your body changes, so might your sense of identity and how others perceive you. Coaching helps you stay grounded in self-acceptance and confidence throughout these transitions. We’ll work together to normalize the complex feelings that come with body image shifts and to find new ways of relating to yourself with respect and care.
Emphasizing health, not just weight
My approach focuses on fitness, well-being, and self-care—acknowledging that health is more than a number on a scale. Together, we’ll prioritize energy, strength, and balance so you feel supported in every aspect of your health journey. This holistic perspective makes space for growth at every size and stage.
Why work with me?
I know what it’s like to live in a body that feels at odds with the image you want to project. After two decades working as a TV news anchor, I navigated the pressure of being in the public eye while struggling with body image and size. In recent years, I’ve experienced the profound changes of losing more than a third of my body weight, and I understand the emotional complexity that comes with it—from relief and joy to vulnerability and uncertainty.
Because of this lived experience, I’m especially attuned to the needs of clients who:
Have struggled with body image or weight for many years.
Feel conflicted about health goals in the context of body positivity or social expectations.
Want supportive accountability without shame or judgment.
Are seeking a coach who understands the courage it takes to begin again, at any stage of life.
Want to work with a coach who has lived experience of using a GLP-1 medication.
My ideal clients are adults who want to pursue health, strength, and confidence in a compassionate, supportive way. If this sounds like you, I’d be honored to support your journey.
