Somatic Therapy NYC
As the owner and founder of Maximé Clarity, I specialize in helping creatives and high-powered individuals and couples find deep healing and growth.
I'm drawn to this work because I've experienced the transformational power of somatic approaches firsthand. So often, standard Western healing approaches focus only on our logical brain. While this kind of work can be helpful on some level, it doesn't get to the root of our traumas.
That's where somatic therapy (and coaching) comes in.
While I'm also a licensed therapist offering somatic experiencing therapy, somatic coaching allows me to help people across the world. In this role, I draw on my personal and professional experiences and when appropriate, can empower people focusing on the “here and now” of their lives, outside of the medical model psychotherapy uses.
Instead, somatic coaching allows us to see you as a whole person who already possesses the ability to deeply heal. The coaching process will allow you to unlock the healing potential you have within you.
I've helped hundreds of people in their journey of personal growth. At the same time, I recognize that I may not be the right fit for everyone. Here, I've curated a list of my NYC somatic therapy recommendations so you can make an informed decision about your wellness.

Somatic therapy or coaching can help you find clarity and connection.
Maybe you've tried traditional talk therapy, or maybe you've recently had a loss or traumatic experience that's left you in need of support. Maybe you're simply looking for a new way to cultivate deep, profound healing. Regardless of what brings you here, you're welcome.
As a somatic coach, I approach this work from a place of innate wholeness. In other words, I don't believe that you (or anyone) is broken. While you might be feeling stuck, lost, or disconnected, you already possess the ability to heal. My job is to help you tap into it.
Together, we'll hold space for all parts of you, and you'll learn practical skills like breathing exercises, mindfulness techniques, and more to help you integrate your mind, body, and spirit. My coaching sessions are a compassionate space where you can be free to express, learn, and heal.
